Our Own Storm
Our Own Storm is a reflective narrative war game about compassion. It's easy to forget that NPCs are representations of people. By placing the player in their enemies' shoes, Our Own Storm challenges us to see our digital opponents as more than just bullet sponges.
Every time the player is killed, control switches to the killer. This system allows players to experience stories, cross battle lines as they switch characters in a besieged fictional island city, and break down the binary of "us" vs "them."
Denver Coulson held a supporting programming role as well as solving technical design problems during the length of the project
